Just as the monsoon bids adieu to God's own country, welcoming the harvest season, the air is filled with vigour, joy, and happiness with the arrival of Onam. The state is painted in more colours than one can imagine, from the intricately decorated elephants to the Pulikali dancers to the gorgeous Pookalam floral arrangements.
